Scott Campbell has served as Associate Vice President and University Registrar at The University of Chicago since 2012. He also holds the title of Associate Dean in the College.
Scott joined UChicago from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where he was in the Office of the University Registrar for fifteen years. Before Georgetown, he was at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
His portfolio includes academic records, business intelligence, classroom management and scheduling, course evaluations, curriculum management, degree planning and degree audit management, enrollment, graduation, institutional planning, and student systems management.
He serves on the Program Committee and the Nominations & Elections Committee for the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO). Previously, he was the Chair of the organization’s Information Systems and Technology Committee.
Scott also serves as Chair of the Association of American Universities (AAU) Conference of Registrars.
