Tambellini Group Appoints Katelyn Ilkani as President and COO

Irvington, Virginia – May 15, 2023 – Tambellini Group is pleased to announce the expansion of its senior leadership team with the appointment of Katelyn Tambellini Ilkani as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, Ms. Ilkani will assume responsibilities for the firm’s daily operations, allowing CEO and Founder Vicki Tambellini to focus on long-term strategy and growth initiatives.

Ilkani brings more than fifteen years of management and leadership experience to Tambellini Group, where she will leverage her successful track record in both academe and managing cloud migration projects to serve Tambellini Group’s hundreds of institutional and vendor clients during an era of rapid evolution in the higher education technology market.

From 2017-2021, Ms. Ilkani was instrumental in leading Tambellini Group’s sales and marketing efforts and served as Vice President of Cybersecurity Research. Before returning to Tambellini Group, she led complex, multi-cloud security engagements at Accenture for clients across North America.

Her career includes time in leadership at IBM, and building a successful cyber security start-up. She is a member of the Information Systems Security Association.
